‘Nomadland’ foi o grande vencedor dos Critics’ Choice Awards

Com quatro distinções, Nomadland – Sobreviver na América foi o grande vencedor dos Critics’ Choice Awards, que foram entregues este domingo (7). Para lá do cinema, a Netflix, depois de 72 nomeações, foi o estúdio televisivo mais premiado, contabilizando no total 14 prémios.

Devido ao contexto pandémico, a cerimónia realizou-se de forma híbrida com o anfitrião, Taye Diggs, e os restantes apresentadores num palco em Los Angeles, enquanto os nomeados aos prémios participaram de forma virtual.

Nomadland – Sobreviver na América, de Chloé Zhao, arrecadou o prémio de Melhor Filme. Venceu ainda nas categorias de Melhor Realizador, Melhor ArgumentoAdaptado e Melhor Fotografia . Zhao tornou-se assim a primeira mulher chinesa a ganhar o prémio tanto de realizadora como de argumentista.

O prémio para Melhor Atriz foi entregue a Carey Mulligan, pelo seu papel no filme Promissing Young Woman, que ganhou o Melhor Argumento Originalpara Emerald Fennell. O filme da Netflix, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, venceu três prémios – Melhor Ator para Chadwick Boseman, Melhor Guarda-Roupa e Melhor Penteado e Maquilhagem.

Na televisão, The Crown foi foi distinguida com os prémios de Melhor Série, Melhor Ator, Melhor Atriz e Melhor Atriz Secundária na categoria de Drama. Na comédia, Ted Lasso arrecadou os três prémios para o qual estava nomeado, Melhor Série, Melhor Ator e Melhor Atriz Secundária.

O prémio #SeeHer, que se destina a mulheres que se destina a mulheres que estão a mudar a história do entretenimento, foi entregue este ano à atriz Zendaya.
